The Vulcan Arms Caravan site is an ideal location to experience
the Suffolk coast. Situated only 100 yards from the beach, coastal
footpaths lead south to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh and north to
Dunwich. With the many walks across Sizewell and Leiston Commons,
plus woodland walks around Kenton and Goose Hills, Sizewell is
the perfect central base to explore this unique part of the British
coast. The caravan site is located adjacent to the Vulcan Arms
pub.
The site is Caravan Club certified and has running water and waste
disposal facilities. There are four electric hook-up points and
extra parking in the pub car park.
Charges are very reasonable at only £4.00 per night with £1.50
per night for electricity (£2.00 November - March) if needed.
A weekly charge is set at £24.00 for 7 nights with electric on
top. It is advisable to prebook the site, especially during the
summer season, though if space is available on the day then you
will certainly not be turned away. Children and dogs are welcome
provided they are kept under control!!!
