The John O Groats Trip - All in 2 Days & a bit !

The open road...in a gutless Vauxhall Corsa!
We start the journey to John O Groats from Southampton, again like the other journeys at night !!
A tent in snow in Stirling
Arriving in Stirling, as the roads began to dissapear, we decided to pitch the tent.
Im sure we are in the UK, and not the Antartic.....
Wheres the road gone ?
Here's the shitty Corsa, the poxy locks froze up by the morning..
This car would struggle at 70 mph!!!
So cold, so bloody cold !!
It was time, to get some rest for the long journey ahead!.
But it was so bloody cold.
Inverness Bridge
By the next morning, we were well on our way, crossing the Inverness bridge, there wasnt ANY snow in sight !
Note we are struggling along in the slow lane, gees this car sucks!
Dunno...some sort of aquduct
More of the everlasting road to John O Groats, over some sort of aquaduct
Correct me if im wrong
John o Groats at last !!
The sign in this picture does actually say John O Groats, but the poxy flash affected it,
so you cant see nothing. Well we were nearly there..
A Clearer welcoming...
Aha better proof, that we made it.
Although nearly everywhere was shut except one place.
Open 24hrs a day 365 days a Year.. so they said!
We posted a couple of cards from here, and signed some book to say we had come from Southampton
Er in our usual style, we decided to leave and head back via Loch Ness
The corsa is looking a little bit worse for wear..
Time to stop for a piss, the snow left the car looking a bit worse for wear.
Dunno what steve's doing in the pic, proberly eating!
The north sea, on route back
Its getting dark already, as we head towards Loch Ness
Although what you can see in the pic is the North Sea
Loch Ness ! at night :)
This picture is actually from a carpark overlooking Loch Ness itself.
Youll have to believe me on that one
Home of Gary Bailey!
Invergarry!, As legend has it the family of Gary Bailey originated from here
Honest!
The journey home, towards Edinburgh, etc
The morning has arrived, we stopped off for breakfast in Glasgow, and headed back down the motorway to home.
